Menorah in the D will take place this year on December 22, 2019.
What is there to do at the event?
The lighting of the Detroit Menorah is the highlight of the event, and a beautiful ceremony to experience, but there are so many things to see and do at Menorah in the D. From toddlers to teenagers and parents to grandparents, there is certainly something for everyone at this family friendly event. Below are just a few of the happenings taking place at this year's event to celebrate the Festival of Lights.

CELEBRATE!
Fun for all ages! Pose with The Dreidel! Face Painting! Chanukah Crafts! Fire Jugglers! Dancing dreidels will be making the rounds and getting folks of all ages in on the celebration. Jump in and join the fun!

Are there special stroller and wheelchair accommodations?
We have arranged for a special stroller and wheelchair area, which will be roped off for guests. Please note, there are no seats in this area.
How much does it cost to attend the event?
Admission is FREE! The activities and entertainment during the Jewish Family Festival, and Menorah Lighting Ceremony are FREE! The snacks and hot cider during the Menorah Ceremony are FREE!
The Food Truck has food for sale.
How long is the event?
Kids Activities are from 4:30-5 pm.
The Menorah lighting ceremony is from 5-6 PM.
