In just a few hours, you and I, along with thousands of others, will gather in the heart of downtown Detroit to light the massive 26-foot menorah – the largest display of Jewish pride and unity in Michigan.
The energy is electric.
We've got the incredible KoshaDillz performing, Dreidel Man, and the dancing dreidels ready to celebrate, and hot soup and treats waiting for you.
Most importantly, we'll have thousands of proud Jews and allies standing together, proving that our light shines brightest when we unite.

The location for Menorah in the D is at Cadillac Square Westbound in Detroit, Michigan, located downtown at 662 Woodward Ave., adjacent to Campus Martius Park, south of Grand Circus Park and north of Hart Plaza. Google Map Link
We recommend parking at Kennedy Square Garage located at 720 Griswold St, Detroit, MI 48226 or One Campus Martius Garage located at 1140 Farmer St, Detroit, MI 48226. Parking in either garage is $10 (if arriving after 4pm).Click here for instructions for using the app to park at the One Campus Martius Garage. Alternatively, there is no meter parking in the City that day, so you can try to find a legal parking space on one of the side streets.
You may not bring in any coolers, weapons, bicycles, heelies, or skateboards. The main entrances will be screened using Evolv Screening security. Please note all bags and backpacks are subject to search.
